Groomer Report

  • ∠Report Date:

March 19, 2018

We were unable to groom over the weekend. Right now we are going to need snow before we will groom again. Still in the woods but to get there you’ll have to trailer out to it. Getting town to towns is difficult too. The in town trails are not in very good shape. If you want to ride your going to have to trailer out. There is snow left away from the lake but there are bare spot in the wooded areas. Pay attention/cautious of icy hills and corners. Please pay attention to the signs on the trail, they are there for a reason especially the STOP sign. Please watch for icy corners and stay to your right when you are going around a corner. Have fun and ride safe!

Trail Notes: The hill by the gorge is icy so use caution. Not alot of snow in the wooded areas, About 1 mile past the big bridge there is a wet hole. We filled it in last night but please be careful when your in that area. Stop by the Bears Den over look which is a gorgeous view of the Sturgeon River.

Trail Notes: We tried making it the whole way and just couldn’t make it. On the powerline there is alot of rocks so use extreme caution if you decide to ride thru there. There are a couple of areas that are being plowed due to logging. 1st one is just past canyon falls going south the road is plowed all the way to the humpback bridge, 2nd one is on about 2 miles past canyon falls plowed for about 1 mile and 3rd one is just past the Cozy Inn turn off the road is also plowed for about a mile. Pay attention to the signs and stop to look for truck traffic- use caution. The trail this year will be going up around Craig Lake so we can bypass some of the wet areas. We will also be grooming in to the Three Lakes Area
