Groomed our North trail, 8 west, 88, 888, and town loop. Trail was in decent shape, with the exception of corners. Worked ’em flat again and busted open the areas that were drifted shut along Sable Lake.
There’s a new Private Drive on your way into town prior to the campground. Please obey the posted signs. Thank you for your support and cooperation. Be safe and Ride Right!
Did the West run 8, 89 & 88. . All in excellent shape. Very windy tonight. Watch for drifting in the open areas. Groomer Phil

West trail, 8, 88, and 89 were beat up from all the traffic this past weekend. We’re getting them back into shape! It’s Tuesday, better get them weekend plans made and make Grand Marais your base.
Trails 443 and 88 were moguled and corners were bermed up due to a busy day in Grand Marais. They smoothed out nicely last night for another day of riding. 1st picture is Trail 8 on the way back to the barn -3 degrees sunny blue skies
I groomed 8, 888 and 88 this evening, it was a little bumpy but groomed up excellent. It is ready for another weekend of heavy traffic. Riders should beware of the blowing and drifting snow mostly in the open areas. From Groomer Will
South run. “Baby it’s cold outside!” 🎶
The cold temps are back after a two day warm up. Trails 443 and 88 east of Grand Marais are still in excellent shape. The warm up didn’t hurt the trail base at all. We’re having high winds and more fresh snow so open areas are drifting. Pictures are Trail 443 from Groomer Phil
East trail is in great shape. Had to cut back several corners but smooth now. 1st picture is turnaround point on 8 East; 2nd picture is Trail 8 as far as the eye can see; 3rd picture is following Groomer Jerrod to the barn from his south run on Airport road. From Groomer Dennis

Happy New Year, sledders! Plenty of snow on trail 8 east of Grand Marais.. due to recent heavy snowfall weighing tree branches down beware of falling tree branches! Several fell and were removed from the trail tonight. Trail was moguled up due to heavy holiday traffic… smoother going, now. Water area on Pull Up Hill rd 1/2 mile from H58 is gone. Groomer Phil.
